Current: 4th. Lots of good players, but no coherent strategy or style. Will start poorly but finish the season strongly.

Leavers: 6th. Solid championship team. Delap single handedly scores enough goals to sneak us into the playoffs, similar to our sixth finish under McCarthy.

Championship: 10th. Without the momentum and luck of our promotion season, the players revert to their true level. No danger of relegation and a hope of the playoffs until the very end.

Interesting! At least the current team finishes highest, given the level of investment!

I do agree we’ll get a lot stronger, once all the disruption and injuries settle down. We need to hope there aren’t 2 others that start like a runaway train.
