Home ticket sales 11:33 - Aug 18 with 812 viewsFlittonBlue

Obviously only 2nd game of season on sale now, but looks like a pattern is emerging as opposed to last years ticket frenzy which resulted in sell outs by 10.15am

North / South Stands - slow drip drip of sales but normally pretty much sold out by end of first day of sales

West Stand - Very similar to last season with only Restricted view / odd family ticket available by lunchtime

Cobbold - again RV tickets BUT the away block E of last season which has now been switched over resulting in 1000 tickets becoming available. These seem to last until the lower reaches of the sale (and as I sat there yesterday some of the best views, albeit extra grumblings about passing out from the back and limited knee room if you are taller than 5 foot - which is pretty standard)

I would expect we hit 28-29k quite comfortably until the pressurised Xmas season, after that it will probably depend on performance but there is a pretty solid core of 25k home fans which SHOULD last the season

I think it's reasonable to understand that the club wants to claw back revenue from dropping out of the Premier League. However, in reality you're not going to get a rush for Y block seats at 50 quid a pop for Say Oxford or Preston at home. In addition I noticed hospitality for the WSL fixtures at Col Who is 150 for adults. I think we have seen in the past where the club has tried to skin the punters and failed.

Very rare to see a Y block ticket available now unless its RV - I used to get tickets in N or O in the front half (level with the expanded press box) but since last season it was almost impossible to get the 1 or 2 available - pre PL there used to be one or two dozen around. As it is now I am happy to go Cobbold block E (and wont have to do the 10am rush - theres still 800 there now 2 hours after going on sale).

Hospitality last year sold out most games and I used Burleys Bar / HOF for matches where demand and ticket queue meant no tickets available. I suspect WSL hospitality is more a business thing than a 'give yourself a treat' thing
