I’m now getting really fed up with the constant links to players who don’t end up coming to Town for one reason or another. I’ll be glad when the 1st Sept comes and then at least we know who we’ve got and who we haven’t so we can focus on the actual football.

I know signings are exciting but all these transfer windows do is whip up lots of expectations that then don’t materialise. I blame social media and greedy agents.

I think we should arrange a mass group hug for all supporters in here, in Alderman Park on Tuesday. With a banner saying "It's overrated last." We'll be allowed to get emotional, within reason.
