Another way of looking at it... 21:28 - Sep 1 with 319 viewsjasondozzell

Is that when we lost Waggy for example we knew we weren't going to be getting anyone anywhere near as good as him.

Now we lose loved players but have exciting signings to look forward to who gave huge potential.

Egeli
Azon
Nune etc.

An interesting way of looking at it.

What about on a player by player basis (including those loaned out and loans in) with their closest replacement. Not all replacements are like for like but most map pretty well.

Delap - Azon (downgrade but was always going to be)

Hutchinson - Walle Egeli (Big potential, but arguably a downgrade based on current ability)

Broadhead - Akpom (Fairly similar I would say - Akpom potentially more positional versatile)

Burgess - Kipre (About equal)

Tuanzebe - Young (Equal based on bringing much needed experience, set piece ability but a short term fix)

Wolf - Furlong (A tough one to call, on paper you could say slight downgrade but adds leadership)

Muric - Button (Not sure how to compare this one)

Ogbene - McAteer (Not got the pace, but age on his side to improve and potential value upside)

Morsy - Matusiwa (Big upgrade for longevity and energy, however loses a few points for loss of leasdership credentials)

Luongo - Canuste (Love mass, but huge upgrade)

Chaplin - Nunez (An upgrade but Caplin knows the system to a T)

Harness - not really replaced as didn’t feature last year
