An ITFC ticket website idiot user asks... 16:15 - Sep 10 with 631 viewsartsbossbeard

...looking to get a ticket for an Auxerre fan we met whilst at the friendly who's in town for the Norwich game and not really had to bother with this bollox previously as an ST holder.

Logged in and I've been refreshing the site all day. Thought I'd nabbed one into my basket only to get a "Sorry, you can't buy any more" message even though I've not purchased one previously.

Am I safe in the knowledge that myself and few others had this in the basket and someone completed the purchase whilst I was clicking through things??

You need to be a *non-season ticket holder* member to purchase, as this is the stage it sold out at.

(except for hospitality tickets)

Poll: Right, we’ve all slept on it. Let’s settle this?

Gotcha - so yesterday was my window of opportunity/lack of opportunity.

Ta. Makes sense, kinda.

Also he wouldn't be able to buy a membership now and then purchase a Norwich ticket straight away, to my knowledge. He'd have to buy a ticket for another game first to prove that he's not from up the road (reduce the likelihood anyway), so would become an expensive business to go down that route.

*This was the case for a friend's ballot entry, at least, who was starting from scratch with no itfc account history. Shouldn't be the case for a new member but with itfc account history, I would guess.

Not if you’re a season ticket holder, no.

The only people who have been able to buy them so far are members who *aren’t* season ticket holders. They get first priority for home games… and bought them all. And so get first dibs on any returns too.
