No it’s trying to appease both clubs which ultimately fails both. It’s like a ref awarding a penalty which he knows is harsh but doesn’t want to lose face by changing his mind. He then awards another soft penalty to the other team - simply annoys both. The right decision is to replay in full - that’s the precedent set and for consistency should be followed. |  | |  |
