The Brighton database 14:00 - Sep 27 with 396 viewsZx1988

I know we've got access back for this season, and understand that Grimsby have access too.

What's the quid pro quo here?

Is it as simple as selling access for a reasonable fee? Or is it the fact that Brighton get more of their targets into English football than would otherwise be the case, and at differing levels of the pyramid? Thus minimising their exposure when it comes to non-PL-ready players that subsequently don't make the grade?

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

Brighton are basically filtering players through the leagues that they will be able to buy later down the road if they so wish given their spending pull.

I would at a guess think the club getting the data (us) know that Brighton have shotgun on a player at some point down the line too.

Plus they will be on an earner for releasing the data, I also assume that the data we get is not the same as Grimsby as the latter team would not be able to sign a serie a player for example like we could.
