Lack of incisive attacks made our possession mostly consist of passing the ball around outside the box. Some very narrow escapes defensively, including a carbon copy of the Portsmouth goal. McAteer and Akpom have both had time to settle in now but I am seeing nothing from either to suggest they are adapting well to the team, Nunez last night was anonymous, the defence does not look like it is getting stronger, the Greaves, Oshea partnership does not really exist. On the plus side Matusiwa, Clarke , Davis and Palmer have kept the team in the game and provided what little threat we had. Azon I will reserve judgement on at the moment. I can not see the long wait for a local Derby victory ending on Sunday. Perhaps another draw ? | |
