Great to finally get it over the line! Didn’t always have full control but Norwich to be fair won’t going to come and lie down. Always looked like we were the ones that were going to cause them the real problems and had more quality all over the pitch. Of course they get another rubbish goal down here and that gets the nerves going. Never felt comfortable until the third went in! It felt like in this kind of game a set piece or another deflected goal was always a possibility. They had a few sights at goal and what 4 corners in a row, that was a bit tough to watch for a few minutes. However, subs at that right time today, once the third went in, we finally did achieve full control and could have honestly ended up 5 or 6-1. Their heads and maybe legs went! Wasn’t concerned in the week as I was very confident but was nervous for a good amount of the game after we didn’t put them away. Performances to note, Jayden for his moment of quality again, Kipre very solid and there are real signs that Sindre can develop into something special. Thought he was one of our better players first half. Nit picking, Hirst didn’t make the most of his openings again (could have made it a much more comfortable afternoon early second half) and still not always assured playing out from the back, put ourselves under pressure on more than one occasion. However, no need to end on a negative, the Pride of Anglia has been restored! We were always the better side and job done. Let’s hope we kick on now. Exhale. Enjoy the rest of your day!
