Just watched the ‘all goals from all angles video’ from the Norwich game and noticed that we had three players with varying degrees of wrist strapping: Azon, Egeli and Hirst. Is this part of a broader trend to wear it because it’s fashionable (I.e. Benzema did it and others are following suit), is it superstition, or are they just genuinely carrying minor injuries? Struggling to wrap my head around it…

P.S. If it helps us beat Norwich 3-1 ever time we play them I’m all for it.

They were all injured getting a bit too enthusiastic doing the customary gestures for the Norwich City coach 'welcome' to Portman Road.

An experienced one, like myself, would have warmed up properly first.
