I can't say I feel many of the players come with baggage, however we know we brought in Williams, we brought in godfrey both with issues going on behind the scenes. But it does make me wonder about the non stat stuff, how much time was spent watching these players, how they work with others, what sort of players did they work with to be a target. An individual is only as good as those around him. ETC Now im not really expecting an answer to this so it's not really a question but when you look at some of the signings, it just doesnt feel much thought whent into them. Sammy S, Akpom etc good historic stats, don't really fit Nunez, in a two, will that ever work? is he mobile enough for that pivot role? oshea, greaves, both seem better without the other, why.. what is the reason, why dont they compliment each other Clarke and Philogene, the types of wingers they are, doesn't bring the best out of davis, what was the thoughts behind them... There just seems to be a stat based recruitment model only that seems to ignore the human element of football This is just an opinion

Ashton is, and never was, even close to good enough. We know that. McKenna more of a coach than manager too, because he’s measurably awful at many aspects of management. You might not like it. You might prefer conjecture, and to make up excuses and deflect. You can’t keep up the nodding dog routine forever though..,, the owners certainly won’t.
