Are we still pretending we didn’t lose to Blackburn. Lucky with the result, but the performance was and IS instructive.
We can’t keep pretending 45 games are a blip. Still, we once played Morecambe, and this isn’t that, so Ashton and KM are elite and world class .., we’ll find some balance along the way.
Probably looks like a squad that will improve, retain its systemic flaws and finish about 8th.
Abject failure in context .., but the nodding dogs will do a conga and all hail the best paid manager ever in the EFL. Weird times.
