Thread | Omari to Leeds would be a tough one to take

Just seen Kings of Anglia reporting that Leeds are interested in Omari
Definitely think he's one of a few players to come out of this season without hurting his reputation and could see him getting a move back to the EPL. We know he's very ambitious too

Just found out my mum's getting majorly shafted on her bungalow when all the others on her street are a band lower with the same amount of bedrooms, plot and bathrooms

Yeah, it's pretty bleak right now but I'm not going to start saying our fate is sealed just yet or that's it's the fault of the recruitment or the manager etc.
Last year on 3rd Feb we lost away at Preston and were seeing automatic promotion slip away from us. Many were even resigned to facing Norwich in the play offs
The season before on 21st Jan we lost away at Oxford and Barnsley were hunting us down as we slipped further behind Plymouth and Wednesday
These feel like darker times because the performances have been poor, but it's not beyond this side and McKenna to turn it around. We've done amazing things before and we can do them again. And let's be honest if we go down we're still in a far better position than any one of us could have imagined less than 3 years ago.
This isn't a call to back the players, but more my own take on why I'm not angry. I guess I'm somewhere between realism, as I never expected much more than what we're currently seeing, and hope because we've seen McKenna turn things around before |

The 'players you'd forgotten had played for town' thread reminded me of some of the more bizarre short term loans we'd had in the past like Ricardo Fuller and Danny Simpson
I'd love the option to go and get another forward on loan for a month or so before the Jan window closes. Someone who you'd not normally be in with a chance of signing but is returning to fitness or who isn't getting minutes for their side but could come on for us at 60mins or so. |

Nothing particularly insightful, but said Liam was enjoying life at town and was excited by working with McKenna. Very much enjoyed his time at Hull as well. Knows Lee Grant and that was a big factor in him joining us

Genuinely very surprised by people thinking that Brighton is a sideways move or wouldn't be appealing
For a big part of this season it looked like they could mount a challenge for a champions league place
They're a well established EPL club who seemingly haven't hit their ceiling yet and are probably up there with Villa as looking the most likely to properly break into the 'Big 6'
Think they're an enticing prospect for any manager on an upwards trajectory. I'm not saying that I think McKenna will go but it if he does stay it won't be because it's a sideways step |

...about how much he used to hate getting assigned to ipswich matches, as the whole place was just so negative. Not only the football but the atmosphere in general.
Quite a damning assessment of the pre-gamechanger days, but also sheds light on what people external to the club thought about how it was being run. It's understandable why we needed a demolition man approach, even if it can be argued that Cook went about it the wrong way
I know Aaron Paul works for the club now, but he couldn't have been more glowing in his assessment of thr mentality of the current squad and the belief that they have |

In our two games against Rotherham this season we've managed to concede 6 goals. That is surely a massive worry. Do we relax too much against the so called easier sides? |
