The Millwall fixture sold out overnight (Tues night, Weds morning) after 2 days on General Sale. The sales profile for the fixture therefore follows.
Summary:
The Club announced an allocation of 3009 tickets had been provided, the seatmap count ran slightly higher at 3018.
- The Club retained a total of 187 seats for Club allocation and steward use (ballot seats are not included in this 'retention' as they were released back into window-based sales at General Sales).
- There were 16 wheelchair / assistant seats.
- A total of 2815 tickets were made available for purchase for across Member Sales.
Release of blocks was staggered: Blocks 23 and 24 (part of upper) and Blocks 49-54 (the whole of the lower) went on sale initially (1622 seats). Block 25 (381 seats) was added at 25+, Block 22 (364 seats) was added at 20+, finally Blocks 21 and 26 (448 seats) were added at 10+.
Per Window Sales:
- 1046 (37.16% of available seats) seats sold in the 35+ window.
- 433 (15.38%) seats sold in the 30+ window
- 220 (7.82%) seats sold in the 25+ window
- 140 (4.97%) seats sold in the 20+ window
- 162 (5.75%) seats sold in the 15+ window
- 379 (13.49%) seats sold in the 10+ window
- 72 (2.56%) seats sold in the 5+ window
- 58 (2.06%) seats sold in the ST window
- 305 (10.38%) seats sold in the General Sale window
Points of Note:
* Combining 35+ and 30+ sees nearly identical sales volumes for Millwall vs the Leicester sale. Probably some slight reduction in sales as result of poor boxing day transport options and clashes of festive commitment conflict (the family-thing vs going to footy), balanced by upwards window-migration.
* Other than 30+ (no idea why) all Windows saw reduced sales compared to the previous Leicester sale, probably a result of previously mentioned transport and commitment conflicts.
