But for over £100 mill spent on this squad, it's the most disjointed, slow, pedestrian frustrating town side i feel i've watched since the lambert days. It;s not as bad result wise hence where we are in the league, but the football itself has turned for circle in KM's time here. For maybe 5 minutes 2nd half we showed what could be achieved with a bit of purpose and tempo, but then what, did we use all our energy in that spell?
Credit to oxford they were orgnised, pressed well. But KM said he knows all about what we were going to face tonight, yet we didn't meet that test.
Lineup, I can't say there was much wrong with it, and that's a bit concerning, for me that was the best lineup we could put out there.

The gap was too big in the prem, look at the squad values was the reason
you wouldn't look at oxford tonight and town as a neutral and know which one spent that amount of money on players. Sure we had the large majority of the ball, but many sides can do that and not do anythin with it... like we did under lambert.
Anyways we go again next week. No idea what version of town will turn up, can't say i'm comfortable with any lineup and that's a bit of an issue really.
