Is our team your number one priority ? 05:10 - Nov 29 with 580 viewsPippin1970

On nightshift and topic of debate. When younger definitely top 2 but now much lower. Obviously passionate like us all but life moves on to next game.

For the 90min it’s the number one priority - that’s why supporting a team and actually going or watching is so good as I’m generally all in for that time.

I don’t tend to dwell on it too much afterwards when we’re bad, or get too excited when we’re good. Being so average for so long has helped that I reckon.

Rare that a waking minute goes by without me thinking about one of family, work or Ipswich.

Exactly, as soon as a game is over the disconnection process starts (especially after a match like last night's) because although football can elate it lets you down too often as well (it's set up to provide winners and losers after all.) Allowing the bad feelings to leak out into your personal life is tragic.

Agree with your first paragraph but as you've probably gathered it puts me in a bad mood when we lose!
