THAT was much better . Contained them.1st half ( they looked quick) and I thought here we go again plodding around, then we started to hit the ball over the top and we caught them time and time again and Egeli got another sublime shot =goal! But 2nd half we played them off the park in my view because we attacked with pace for a change and hit the ball long and early. It was so nice to see a different approach and us mixing it up a big more (well done McKenna )and we nailed Coventry.
That second half was the best weve played for months, thoroughly deserved win after a very even first half. I thought Kipre was superb again at the back, so pleased Hirst scored as he was having a torrid time, will boost his confidence.
We still had to thank Walton for two cracking saves that helped win the game. The issue we have is not many teams will come and go toe to toe with us and that's where we struggle.
On to Weds now and lets do the same and beat Stoke.

Coventry looked bang average over the entire game. Never opened us, like Charlton did.
Yes lots of passing it around at the back and obviously have loads of confidence which meant they weren't afraid to try a long pass. But they were lucky that 2nd half didn't end up with 5 or 6 goals for us. |  | | |
