Frimmers belated FT thoughts 23:10 - Dec 6 with 354 views

Lineup. No surprises. Hard to pick a town Lineup at mo but no problems really with what was selected.

I wasn't to impressed with our general performance up until we scored. I felt we wwre still slow in our play. Passing wasn't great and we just couldn't hold the ball up. Coventry probably should have had a few goals and hirst could have been sent off.

2nd half I was really impressed with. Much more intent. Quicker in our play. It wasn't a case of just having fitter players. We zipped the ball around quicker and worked the Coventry backline harder.

Nunez our best ball playing cm since magilton by a mile. Hes so good with the ball. Struggles at time to trap a ball but when he can he can cause major problems.

Philly. Egeli good shifts on and off the ball.

Defence well organised. Coventry had some efforts 2nd half but to have been expected anyway but in General we snuffed out many of their moves.

For me. 2nd half is what we need from town from minute 1. The game could have been over by 20 minutes in Coventrys favour and thats what we can't afford. When town are in full flow its hard to stop.. thats what rotation should be given us from minute one.

Onto stoke. Gonna be a horrid game I think. Not gonna be pretty. We need to be ready for a battle. When we get the ball get at them with purpose and we will be fine.
