The art of becoming consistent 07:16 - Dec 28 with 317 viewsashtonscoffeecup

If history tells us anything about this league it’s that you need to put a winning run together to break into those automatic spots (if you’ve not consistently preformed/picked up wins in the early stages on the season to build upon) This current team, putting aside anything else, has seen us being consistently inconsistent.

on viewing the remaining fixtures, and i know it’s impossible to say for certain, but i struggle to locate a set of games where we stick 6/7/8 wins in a row together. of course if the recruitment in Jan surpasses what i believe to being massively lacklustre in the summer then we could do this (as we did last time around)

a really interesting 4/5 months ahead

To use a football cliche - it's fine margins isn't it?

Park the 5 defeats, crap as some of them where, as they will happen over a season. We've drawn too many games, somtimes in circumstances where we've been on top and toiling to get the winner. (Millwall, Watford, Wrexham).

If we could have converted 3 or 4 of those draws into wins the table would look much better. And at some point, as you state, we will need to put together a longer run of wins than 2! This division, I think more than any other, is there for whatever team sticks that run of wins together.

A very important transfer window coming up, to get the players to turn those fine margins in our favour, as too many of the attacking players signed in the Summer haven't worked out so far.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.
Poll: If there was an election today, who would get your vote?
