As one who has been openly pessimistic about our season thus far, that was everything I'd like us to be. Jack Clarke running that left side, Greaves providing some food for thought at Left Back, and welcome back Burns, we've very much missed you.
This team are fully capable, and last night showed that we can be the best team in this league. Oxford, of course, will pose a very different threat (and will be delighted with a draw, I'm sure....) but I do hope that this is the start of some consistent form.
We absolutely need strikers and cover for particular players, not least Matu, but that was, by some distance, the performance of the season last night.
As an aside, that Rushworth save from Taylor was astonishing. [Post edited 30 Dec 8:57]
