Another dull performance from him. So easy to read for defenders every time cuts in on his left and plays it back or to central midfield. Burns should have played the full 90.

Saw an interview where McKenna was talking up McAteer pre‑match, so expected him to replace Burns (if I were McAteer, I’d be wondering how I’ve become the scapegoat with fans while others get a free pass).

Transfer / scouting policy feels like the real issue. We splashed out on Egelli and McAteer, yet Burns is still the starter; we've got 2 excellent players in Clarke & Philogene but can't play them both at the same time; Szmodics was signed but never fit the system; we resigned Cajuste but he can only play 60 mins...

Hopefully Sindre and McAteer both come good but hope we are investing some of the Prem cash into the scouting network.
