I have spent some quiet moments today thinking about the managers comments to do with not having a team to push on in the cup and push for promotion. How can little Wrexham who themselves are looking for promotion make us look so poor? I don’t for one minute want a Parkinson type manager but questions really need asking if after the last 4 windows and money spent we can’t give it a go in the early rounds. I love Town but I just can’t get my head round that logic, we make changes every week lots of squad rotation so not really any excuse about fitness. There must be an 11 that could have given it a go tonight.
I feel for the away fans paying money to support the team. If the boss can come out and say we can’t compete then he should have said that before tickets went on sale, then he says the team need the fans.
