Who makes an effort just to escape the grief or do you think it's worth making an effort to make your partner feel special. To me it's a load of money making bollox . If you can find someone who accepts flowers the next day because they are half price you're definitely onto a winner.
Flowers with some mini red balloon in them and a takeaway. Against my better judgement though tbf.
Job done. We go away to Greece in a few weeks and have upgraded us to a room with a private pool which she doesn’t know about yet. So will just say that’s a birthday/valentines/anniversary present rolled into one if necessary.
I’d say the day itself is commercialised nonsense. But didn’t have the heart to get nothing knowing she’d look on instagram and see everyone showing off their flowers etc. And while we ain’t ever gonna do that flaunt social media stuff, I didn’t want her to feel left out. Hence the flowers.
