| My two cents.... 22:18 - Mar 10 with 268 views | WicklowBlue | Missed a lot of the first half. So happy to be dismembered. Soft peno yep but now many times do we bemoan the refs... Seconds before Hirst was in on goal and blazed the ball over the ball. When there were more sensible options back to pass to. My super main issue is the decision making across the team. Flick when protecting the ball would be better. Very very frustrating...there is a soft underbelly in this team and a lack of belief. We keep giving ourselves mountains to climb, then we expend energy to claw it back and then screw ourselves up again. Stoke were blowing at 50mins and yet we cannot manage the game out. I firmly believe we have mentality issues and cannot mix up the game from close play and direct when situations require it. You always make your own luck in sport and as Kieran says himself we lack composure at key times. | | | | |
| My two cents.... on 22:24 - Mar 10 with 201 views | bazza | Constant changes in the starting line up and the substitutions baffles me, not really had a settled team all Season, no partnerships Really forming, our passing at times is woeful. Look like a bunch of total strangers at times. | | | |

Cohesiveness is a key issue and players managing in game situations. There were times this evening when watching from afar I was shouting at the back line to move the ball into space. Yet we shovelled the ball into the centre for example the 2nd stoke goal. Yes the penalty was horrifically soft....but being frank that should have been dealt with. My missus was watching the game and cannot understand how p1ssed off I was. I explained that there is a definite pattern here and we havent addressed it. I was super happy for Hirst but equally the keeper had a mare in our 3rd goal. Then I was told maybe it would be good for Towen to build again in the championship. Which ended up with my saying do you think it would be good for Spurs to be relegated..... Anyway long story short...for me this team is very rapidly becoming super frustrating. We have the ability to rip teams apart when we choose to but we dont choose to do that consistently. Im off to sleep in the dog house for pointing out it is never good to drop levels. | | | |
