The Sheffield Wednesday fixture sold out (I think) around about Monday 9th of March, during General Sale. The sales profile for the fixture therefore follows. Summary: The Club announced an initial allocation of 2400+ tickets (upper tier), with more to follow (lower tier) if demand was high-enough. Due to reductions in capacity at Hillsborough due to safety concerns, not all seats in each block are actually sold, making it harder to accurately establish how many seats were retained / went on sale. - The Club retained (estimated) a total of 198 seats for Club allocation, steward use, etc. - There were 62 wheelchair / assistant / ambulant seats. - A total of 3425 tickets (estimated) were available for purchase for across Member Sales. - The Upper Tier (2200 ish) seats went on sale from day 1, nearing sell-out in the 15+ window when lower-tier block began to be added (centre blocks first). Lower blocks at the side extremities were added last, at General Sale. Per Window Sales: - 947 (27.65% of allocated seats) sold in the 40+ window. - 401 (11.71% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 35+ window. - 199 (5.81% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 30+ window. - 159 (4.64% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 25+ window. - 177 (5.17% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 20+ window. - 287 (8.38% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 15+ window. - 346 (10.10% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 10+ window. - 267 (7.8% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 5+ window. - 175 (5.11% of allocated seats) seats sold in the Season Ticket window. - 467 (13.64% of allocated seats) seats sold in the General Sale window. Points of Note: * Due to safety concerns in the away end, the permitted capacity of the stand has been significantly reduced so not all seats present in the seatmap were available. The total capacity of the stand is 5524 (3069 upper, 2455 lower), but only 3685 (2/3rds) can be used (2412 upper, 1273 lower). * Sales in 25+ and higher windows seem to have plateaud (tailed off slightly even) over the last few higher-allocation (Leics onwards) games. | 25/26 Sheffield Wednesday Away Match Sales 'Profile' on 11:02 - Mar 12 with 676 views | ParisBlue | Looking at other clubs ticket sites: - Derby had an allocation of 3,900 - Wrexham had 2,400 + 1,352 = 3,752 - Saints as per Wrexham (3,752) So assuming the same, 3,752 - 3,425 = 327 for ballot and comps. Not sure if the ballot is 2% of inital allocation, or the full allocation.

There's no ballot allocation to take into account, it went to General Sale so Ballot-retained seats were released back into normal sales at General Sale. Club retained + disabled + those that were sold in window-sales totals 3685, not a million miles away from Wrexham / Saints. If I'm only 50 or so 'out' given the amount of educated-estimation I had to employ for this one, I'll be happy! Several news articles from 2023 document an enforced reduction in capacity to 3700, so inline with the Wrexham / Saints numbers (Derby would be an anomaly though).
