I've said before I feel desperately sorry for him. Had had to deal with a horrible entitled support while building a new side under pressure, then the Szmodics stuff and now this.
I am desperately hoping he can stand up to Ashton. I suspect his line at the presser will be that he has to concentrate on the football, that their job is to shut out all the noise and he'll have to toe the party line. But I really hope he can say something. Otherwise all the values of the club stuff he talked about after Szmodics doesn't mean much does it.
It's not fair to expect him to speak out but I really hope he can.
