I recall someone (maybe it was even Phil) mentioned on here a few days back that a number of players were liaising with the PFA, and that they were working together to prepare a statement.
Did anything come of that? Does there having been no statement suggest that the players concerns have been allayed (assurances regarding Ashton's future, perhaps?), or is it fairly common for statements to be drafted but either held back for future use, or just not being used altogether? |  |

Protest by lurcher 29 Mar 14:58Fairly standard procedure in matters like this, they assist players with legal council as the club itself is the offending party. I was told that the players have drafted a statement that could be released by the PFA on their behalf.
I cant see him staying.

I have heard no more this week. In all honesty after the events of last week and how Town fans have been pulling each other apart online. I have had to have a few days away from all things ITFC, it has been breaking my heart. The playing staff have certainly made their feelings known to the club. I can only speculate that they haven't gone public or further at this time. As they have been appeased or convinced to concentrate on the run in at this time. |  | | |
