This is where I sit, it's a bit of an odd section, as there are a few season ticket holders, but the majority are individual match ticket buyers. It's probably because of the proximity to the away fans, which some don't like, but I enjoy the back and forth with them depending on who we are playing and yesterday to be fair was pretty light hearted and entertaining. As a result we get a fair amount who most games that don't want to sing, many don't really know the songs to be fair as they are match to match purchasers. Yesterday, 4 or 5 rows behind me we had a group of blokes, who weren't regulars, but were getting songs going in the first half, even if they didn't always catch. Later on, in the 2nd half when we were all getting a bit tense, worrying that QPR could pull on back and make it a nervous end, the QPR fans picked up on it and started singing, "sit down if you sh@g your mum". Which promoted these lads to start singing, "sit down if you love Norwich" at the fans in the Sir Alf, and then 10 minutes or so later started singing that awful football in a library song. If league positions were reversed you'd have sworn they were QPR fans that were sat in the home end. I just found it a bit odd. | |
