There has been a LOT of online discourse recently about the cost and inaccessibility of the upcoming World Cup, and much of that has centred on the Met Life stadium in New Jersey and that it can't be walked to.
A couple of weeks ago an extremely insufferable Brooklynite decided to claim that people criticising lack of US non-car infrastructure was somehow 'white privilege' - and even though I am on the left, goodness can they please wind their neck in a bit there...
Anyway. I hadn't seen anybody actually try to walk to the stadium until this video and, goodness, Americans should really be embarrassed around the urban landscapes they have allowed to develop.
