Much like Ashton-gate. Too little, too late. It would have been better for them not to bother.

Apologies that aren't immediate and unequivocal rarely go down well. Do Southampton use the same PR company as us?

I feel very sorry for their fans.

Mr Parsons you bang on about proportionality and that your club has “been denied the opportunity to compete in a game worth more than £200 million and one which means so much to our staff, players and supporters.”

But it cuts both ways doesn’t it?

You, your club were prepared to deny others including ITFC the chance to gain promotion and the £200 million prize that follows.

You can’t have it both ways Parsons - the punishment much match the severity of what you did.

Referring to the £200 million prize only confirms that the punishment was entirely appropriate.
