If the Southampton players follow through with the threat to sue the club that could result in some interesting ramifications.

The breakdown of trust could lead to players leaving and the financial impact could really affect next season’s playing budgets. Not to mention Tonda likely being sacked and or banned, together with you’d have to assume half of their analysts.

The whole incident could set Southampton back a long way.

Oh dear.

How sad.

Never mind.

Lovely boy.

Better to stay silent and be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt

Martin and Still were big set backs. Then with zero recruitment, and minimal time training, they were easily the best side in the division.

I think they’ll be fine, let’s focus on us, football moves quickly.

As for court action, how do you recover losses you haven’t suffered, you’d have to persuade the court you’ve lost something, and losing the chance to play an play off final isn’t a financial loss. Not one worth the trouble.

This is why the EFL acted quickly. The players haven’t lost anything, just a day out at Wembley.

Wrexham suffered losses, at the very least the revenue form play off games, and I suspect they’ll will go after Southampton, but you can’t just pretend you’d win the play offs and claim hundreds of millions .., that’s not a measurable actual loss suffered, it’s conjecture.

What a mess. A little surprised they didn’t award the 3-0 to Boro and avoid that, but guess the breaches in league games mitigated that.

So I’m sure Wrexham will look closely, they’ve lost actual measurable revenue. Had they beaten Oxford and that cost them relegation, that would have been another headache.

I wonder if that had happened, the only possible action might be to relegate Southampton, more conjecture.

Let’s focus on us. They were much better then us the last few months, would probably be wise to understand why, because it wasn’t spying.

Everyone is focused on us.

It’s a football forum, where people talk about football.
If you aren’t into that, there’s always Mumsnet.

Yes they were so “much better” they couldn’t beat us when they needed to - despite spying on us - and finished four points behind us as we went up automatically.
