The new large scale Signature Gate - one of the three entrances to the updated open access fan zone, adjacent to the new West Stand concourse building and opening onto Sir Alf Ramsey Way. Has the large Suffolk Punch sign above but then ‘Running Towards Adversity” beneath.
Ticket office moved to have windows running at end of North Stand apron.
Wonder if they’ll close off the fanzone once game kicks off and still allow fans out of the new concourse into the fanzone at half time. Which was a positive step last season - as in leaving fanzone facilities open.
Given the scale of works the World Cup viewing area in the fanzone will be quite a bit smaller I imagine.
Anyway all good stuff. And quite a project if you factor in all the change on Constantine Road - new parking, ticket office demolition, revised main entrance. Assume the ticket office staff now all move into the new office space in old gym/indoor pitch.
