Just watched back the Wycombe highlights, really interesting to see in possession we have fatawu and Davis high and wide with then Maeda, Mehmeti and Furlong as the 3 behind the striker.
Can see Furlong getting as the spare man and hit the post in the game, I wonder if there will be a real attack minded player we will recruit for this role if this is how this system plays out?
Perhaps could suit Ben Johnson quite well in that hybrid role?
Of course aware it is pre season but an interesting one to keep an eye on.
We had, allegedly, bid €30m for Anan Khalaili from Royal Union Saint-Gilloise, so that seems to be the plan alright. Nottingham Forest have been making attempts to sign him since his move to Inter Milan was blocked.
