Sunderland Tickets 14:57 - Aug 3 with 1275 views

Got mine this morning, and delighted.

I was expecting it to be similar to 2 years ago, where i recall nearly (if not every) game sold out at members stage, usually by 11 (always the odd one appears after that time). However there were just below 1,000 still appearing (vast majority in West Stand) at midday which surprised me.

Is this because of the unglamourous opening game, digital tickets or something else putting people off? I am just a little perplexed!

Probably due to holidays in August. I know I'm unable to make the game because I'm away with the family so I assume others are in the same bracket.

There are still about 100 tickets left, but nearly all if not all are restricted view.

As far as I could see at 1:30pm there were around 200 seats left but were all hospitality seats (Min. price £120 pp if you've got 7 friends wanting to go!). Those in R section are also restricted view (£228 for a restricted view, bargain!)

Actually about 60 restricted view available, the other 30 are hospitality as per longtime fan’s post.

Two seasons ago it was Liverpool at home in the opening game - these went very quickly when on sale to members. I got one this morning and was surprised I was under 1,000 in the order - when last in the Prem was frequently 3.5 k and more.
