You can pick them apart and rationalise them but this is not filling me with a lot of confidence on the player. Basically he’s not great but we didn’t want to risk leaving it too late and getting no-one so we’ll do our best.

Everything he said seemed bang on from his performance on Saturday. Looks a major upgrade on what we had but some way off being a regular starter at this level.
