Ipswich Town Match Programmes 11:34 - Aug 18 with 694 views

I have hundreds of ITFC programmes from the late 70's through to the early 2000's that I'd love to give away to a good home. Nearly every season is covered in that period and 90% of them are for every home fixture. There are also a fair few away games in there as well.

Auctioning them isn't an option, there is a market for programmes earlier than the 60's but nothing more recent than that. If I could find a charity that could make use of them, I would be very happy to go down that route but up to now, I've not had much success.

Apart from my Dad writing the amended team sheet on some of the early ones, they're in first class condition. I'd really just like to find somebody who will enjoy reading them so if there is somebody who is interested, please do let me know.

When I inherited Dad's collection of programmes to add to my own not inconsiderable few. I had some hope that they might be worth something.
However after reading threads on TWTD some hope was converted to no hope I had to decide what to do with them.
I am sure it will be understood on here that to my mind to bin them is out of the question. So following the success of leaving the year books at Bobby's feet last season I will be leaving half a dozen assorted programmes (that is 6 if you are a Gen Z) again with Bobby's statue free to whoever gets there first. I wont get there until about 2.30.

To give you a taste the one for St Georges Day 1977 has Bobby starting his notes "There can be no one at Portman Road today who is not asking themselves the question "Can we still win the League Championship?"."A glance at the table shows Town 1 point adrift of leaders Liverpool. Do I have your interest ?

I will be dropping off programmes every match except evening ones.
Keep them if you want. All I ask is that they are not thrown away.
Return them if you like.
Please bare in mind Dad's favourite charity was EACH.
