As a former Newcastle Uni student who used to watch them loads (at the time you could but tickets easily), absolutely buzzing with them beating Liverpool. Not won a trophy for years and Newcastle as a city is the best city there is with the best fans. Nice to see a different clubs name etched on a trophy |

Hi all - after a bit of helpful advice if possible.
After being tailed for five miles this am, I was hauled over by the cops at about 9:30am. Had my keys taken off me then interrogated about where I was going, where I had been etc... I handed over my driving licence which they ran through the system (twice) and my insurance (which they tried to challenge me on) then proceeded to breathalyse me because I'd committed a motor vehicle offence.
My keys were apparently taken off me so I didn't drive away from them. I have a 1liter C1 car - not going to outrun any cop car is it!
So, completely made to feel like a criminal - what was the offence I asked - apparently my rear number plate is a slightly wrong shade of yellow (their words)! IS this such a thing as the government website only says yellow background. Looking at it, it is absolutely no different from what I can see to other plates so their eyesight must be good
Anyone know anything about colour plates? No other issues with it in terms of spacing, raised etc
The other option could be that they are budgie fans as it has the town crest on - or they have an internal joke at work about what lame reason can they haul someone over for and ruin their morning

Before the game, the lower Cobbold where I sit was absolutely rammed with fans purely there to video the Citeh players warm up. Completely ignored our lads when they came on the pitch and spent god knows how long swooning and focussing entirely on the Citeh players. Honestly shocked me - if you are there to support Ipswich do that not the opposition! They probably don't remember the time they themselves were in league one and re-building. Maybe just me, but shows a lack of respect to our players |
