Our business was pretty decent, but the gap between a lower-mid Prem team and a newly promoted team these days is still going to be massive - we under-estimated the difference last time, think Coventry are probably under-estimating the difference this time. Players like Wharton, Timber, Pino, Sarr and Mateta are in and around the best international teams in the world. We've potentially got Palacios in that kind of league if he settles in, and maybe Enciso too, but with our back-line of O'Shea, Greaves, Diop and Davis we're going to struggle to keep clean-sheets / pick up points away from home a lot of the time. We've definitely got a chance, but talk of expecting 4 points from the next 2 games, or saying this is must-win is a bit over the top. We need to turn over quite a few teams at home, like we did against Sunderland, and then we need to pick up a few lucky points / surprise wins away to bolster that, and they could come anywhere, really. |
