Great work into the ones that stayed behind during the break. Really good block for them. If I'm honest, didn't enjoy it as much as a one weekend break. On this one, you end up with a group that stays end up needing a mini-pre-season and those away end up having played lots of minutes, so group is really split. But that's not down to me, I get on with it. | | | |

Have a conversation with lads who have been at clubs we play but new manager, change in playing style. What you realise is that teams who have stayed in the PL have really strong, deep squads. Which is why it's important we develop and progress and follow in the footsteps of Brighton, Fulham, Bournemouth etc. Good game tomorrow, confident we can cause them problems.
League table doesn't mean anything yet, unlucky to be on their points tally. Felt we deserved to get something out of Everton and Fulham will similarly be looking to get something out of Saturday when they may have deserved more in previous games. A rare afternoon, 3pm kick-off, see if we can get another memorable three points. | | | |

Jack and Azor played in Espanyol as well as for U21s. How they get back in the team, down to them. We built the squad that we have because we'll need it. I'm sure there will be times in the season where we have plenty sidelined. Doing my best to make sure they understand how important that are to me.
