Hi all, following the thread about the Amazon Echo/Dot I was intrigued and very much interested in getting a Smartphone home set up. I don't really need all the bells and whistles - what I really need is Light control, Outlet controls and if possible door bell notifications.
My dear old mum is getting on a bit and has trouble with lighting, afraid she wont be able to see the light switches, but the ol' gal is really handy with tech like smart phones.
Are any of you able to offer you experiences with such set ups, obviously I want to be as economical as I can, but don't want some system that doesnt perform consistently
