Depressing but reality is that Evans looks like a model owner compared to people like Anderson at Bolton. Story in paper today about him being disqualified from being a company director for 8 years previously, reneging on legal contracts and paying himself £500,000 in 'consultancy fees' from club. Evans clearly has got his fingers burned, but in fairness to him he has never done anything like Anderson, Oystons etc. My worry is that if we are sold we could end up going to someone worse. Still think Evans could get everyone back on side by admitting mistakes, listening to supporters, taking more care of the ground etc and accepting that we need some more investment. Why not sort catering? Get local companies in. Lower ticket prices. Get ex players doing more work as ambassadors. Create some pride! And Evans must, must keep Lambert! [Post edited 8 Jan 2019 19:33]
