It very well could have been linked to that. I'm sure with Stone being hauled in Trump is starting to sweat behind the scenes though (assuming he is guilty of wrongdoing of course)

He tried, and seems to have failed, to go with the 'Saviour of the people in need' strategy. I should imagine he will be taking a lot of pops at Hillary this week to save face.
