Replace Skuse with Donacien once fit, and obvioulsy Vincent-Young on his return, but I thought that was our best 90 minutes at home this season, bar two defensive lapses which were punished.
We didn't deserve to lose but I thought we looked bright with Keane and Jackson both playing a part, Dozzell putting in his strongest performance of the season and Downes remaining busy. Nolan wasted so much but we have no one better in the squad.
I do have my concerns about Holy - his distribution was woeful at times though I don't think he was to blame for the goals. I wouldn't be surprised if Norris is back next week.
I wouldn't blame Lambert if he went for a slightly more defensive XI against Portsmouth, maybe the one which started at Coventry, but we now need to finish our chance as we've actually started to create them. |  |
