Negative. Travelling up by car tomorrow morning. Only 2 times I've done Sunderland away before we've lost 1-0. 1st was 2001, which was Sereni & Finidi's debuts. Bramble gave away a cheap pen which Phillips duly dispatched. Although that was the opening game of the relegation season, it was one of so much optimism off the back of finishing 5th the season before. The next was another pretty poor game, can't remember the season exactly but another 1-0 defeat and long drive home.

Hopefully tomorrow yields a better result and not a hatrick of 1-0's. Looks like there will be a good turn out from the locals.
