Are we still banking on our “home games against weak opposition” 12:31 - Feb 24 with 668 viewsIllinoisblue

To get us in the playoffs? LOL. A weakness runs through the club. Lambert will be paid off in the summer and the cycle of mediocrity will begin again.

This season parallels with 14/15 so perfectly, a failure to invest in January and a reliance on two Easter fixtures to see us over the line.

Neither went well in 14/15 so expect neither to go well now!

Our form derailed much later in 14/15 than it has done this season!

The history of that season has been rewritten totally. Home form was excellent, about a point of Middlesbrough's as being the best in the league, it was away form - outside of the M25 - that fell away and nearly cost us sixth.

It's totally different to this season.

Do I remember a similar season under Magilton where we were almost unbeaten all year at home but only won about two away games?

2007-08. It was three in the end, we were a little unlucky at the start of the season then Terry Hunt and Deckchair made a big thing out of it in the press and it became a bigger issue.
