Why the shock, whats different? 09:35 - Mar 1 with 819 views | r2d2 | Lambert has done no better than he did last season here. He got an easy time last year. He was hired to keep us up, same as Mick was when he came in. Mick did it with room to spare, and Lambert got away with murder with excuse after excuse. Now why the shock? He is just the same as last season, utterly clueless. Yet people seem surprised. Lets face it, he has been a disaster from day one.

People do seem dazed by it. Lets face it. His record last season was no better. He hasnt a plan A let alone a plan B. What they do on the training ground all week is a mystery, because come Saturday whatever team he puts out we are just the same. Weak as p!ss.
Why the shock, whats different? on 10:05 - Mar 1 with 727 views | Guthrum | Setting aside the McCarthy comparison, last season he started with a demoralised team already adrift of safety.Lambert did a lot about turning around the sour atmosphere at the club, even if the on-field stuff did not work. What's different is he has now had the (limited) chance to reshape his squad and is operating in what should be a less exacting environment. It looked like that was working out, at first. However, we didn't just crash, the wheels came off and we went upside-down in the ditch, on fire. It's the seeming inability to do anything about turning that situation around - when he should now have the tools to do it, starting from a better position - which causes surprise and alarm among the fans.
