Jackson speed does unsettle teams as he is dangerous when running onto a pass or reacting to rebounds. But he clearly lacks key skills to be a top center forward.

His weakness is that he does not have a good enough first touch to trap or create with the ball in tight situations and lacks physical strength with the ball at his feet to play effectively with his back to goal. Also his Ariel ability is limited.

These skills are coachable if the player is willing to learn. You have to be committed as a player to accept you need improvement and have the patience to work at your game.
If Jackson was willing to accept that development in these areas he could greatly prolong his career.
Go to the Championship without these skills is a very bold move !

He’s found his football easy in the lower leagues BECAUSE of his speed. In fact that was the first thing he said he was good at when he arrived at Town. I agree fully with your assessment of him. It remains to be seen if he will ever perfect his first touch ..... I doubt it .
