Did well to get out of that with a point as even before Downes’s Injury we looked second best. Good defensive performances from Nsiala and Wilson kept us in it.

Hopefully just a bad day at the office but seemed a worrying return to the shapelessness of last season. MK Dons imposed themselves and their style of play far too easily.

I hope Ward is back soon. Not sure if it’s a coincidence but the aimlessness and shapelessness really seemed to show when he went off.
