What owner needs a regular pre-match meeting? Post match, I can understand, but pre match?
Maybe thats what Lambert was referring to last week, and would go someway to explain Lamberts utter refusal to deviate from style and formation even when clear that it's not working. |  |

Yes, I would guess that's what's going on (with absolutely no inside info) - explains why Evans hasn't sacked him, cos Evans is (to some extent) responsible for the awful football, and explains why Evans talked about 'Green Shoots', when we were playing rubbish - he was talking it up because he was partly responsible for our playing style.
Also would fit in with the reluctance to delegate other aspects of the club management to eg a DoF or a CEO. |  | | |
