But I think Cook got his subs wrong again tonight. I think the game was set up in a way that would've suited a 4-4-2 in the second half. Parrott had a decent game but Jackson should've been brought on instead. I would've liked to have seen Bishop and Downes together in the middle because Downes has the legs to play in a 2, which would've given Bishop a bit more space to run into and 2 strikers to aim his passes at. Also I'd get rid of Bennetts now, I'm not entirely sure what he offers that Dobra doesn't.
I don't think it's an issue yet as he obviously doesn't know the full strengths and weaknesses of the squad, but hopefully it will be addressed. Overall a decent point, and as others have said, it's a game we probably would have lost under Lambert.
